Nukpana’s Bane
280 years had passed since the birth of the legendary first purple dragon. Through those 280 years he had control of the world almost in his paws. All that remained were the cities protected by the elemental masters: Pyry, Volos, Kennith, and Ishkur. They stood as beacons of hope for those seeking freedom, but also a reminder to Nukpana himself that the world was not yet his.
At the 280 year mark, though, something unexpected happened. In the city led by Volos, another purple egg was laid. Volos quickly got word to the other three masters, informing them about this surprise. The four of them decided to allow the egg to hatch, but agreed to keep a close eye on it.
Soon enough the egg did hatch, revealing a small dragoness that her parents named Mysder. Little is known about what her life was like growing up, only that she was trained by Volos himself. When it was discovered she was indeed similar to Nukpana in the fact that she could control more than one element, Volos informed the other three, and they each sent their strongest pupils to train her in the other three elements while Volos continued to train her and another pupil, named Ragne.
After years of training, Mysder became incredibly skilled with her powers. When she was eighteen Volos gave her a mission. She was summoned before him with Ragne and the three other apprentices in attendance.
“Mysder, it is time.”
“Time for what, master?” She asked.
“The other three masters wish to see you; they will help you become strong enough to take on Nukpana.”
“As you wish master, but what about…”
“Don’t worry Mysder, I can take care of it.” Ragne interrupted.
Mysder nodded in reply and left immediately to Ishkur’s city. The amount of time she spent there was never determined, but it wasn’t long before she moved onto Pyry’s city. As it was with the time spent there, nothing is known on what was done with Mysder, only that her powers grew immensely stronger. Upon arriving at her final destination, Kennith’s mountain, she was met by a soldier from her home.
“Master Mysder, I bring grave news…”
